My second collection of drawings is coming along nicely. This surprised me as I have not been as regular with drawing as I usually am. Moving to Mexico kind of stirred up my equilibrium, to say the least, and routine was replaced with many novel experiences; some good, some not so good.
The best aspects of the moving process for me was the opportunity afforded me to get to spend a lot of time with my dear friend, Lindy Huber, in a classically Kentucky historic log cabin on their beautiful farm filled with alpacas, llamas, lambs, deer, turtles and all manner of other mid-American wildlife. The not-as-happy portions of this same time period surrounded my mother’s quick transition from vital, living Force to fully transitioned spirit who moved on to wherever it is we go when we leave this earthly realm.
You can pretty much see all of this as these drawings unfold. I’m still getting used to this particular slideshow plugin, so they run backwards from most recent to earlier. Sorry about that. 🙂
This morning I drew #740 which means I only have sixty to go to be finished with my Volume of 400 Mornings. I’m anticipating having that book available for sale in time for holiday gift giving! Of course I’ll keep you updated on that as things progress. It will be available on amazon.com just like my first volume is.
