Like all curious creatives with an eye towards maximizing my online presence these days I’ve begun doing some posts with this uber popular photo sharing social network. I’ve been playing around with it, comparing its features to those I already use with Facebook, Twitter and this very blog you’re reading. What I’ve noticed is those who use it to its finest advantage are those who limit their Instagram (HappyArtMarti) feed to a single curated topic.

What’s Instagram?  From Wikipedia: It’s is a free photo-sharing program that was launched in October 2010. The service allows users to take a photo, apply a digital filter to it, and then share it on a variety of social networking services, including Instagram’s own.

Thats’ why I decided to go with highlighting my own little world. After all I can’t begin to compete with people who love exciting jetsetty lives, nor naturalists, or people with immediate access to high cultural events and so on. So I intend to depict my weensy slice of heaven (and sometimes not so heavenly world).

You can now find my posts via my user name: HappyArtMarti or by searching the tag: #DogTrotHill which is the name of our little gentlemen’s farm here in the bluegrass region of central Kentucky. Below are some recent posts!

Here’s the theme sketch for this new project:
