She also runs a large network for equine advocacy and rescue at www.EquineConnection.org. In fact a lot of the money she generates from her equine art goes directly towards funding the upkeep and expansion of that network. Her intention is to help people who help horses find each other and share ideas, resources and become a more poweerfuly, better connected tribe.

Marti’s miniature horse, Iota McHippus, has his own Facebook fan page where he posts snarky comments about a variety of topics. Marti helps him with the typing for which he is perfectly ungrateful.He also has his own store where you can buy his likeness on silk ties, coffee mugs and mouse pads – the proceeds of which go to fund the equine rescue network noted above. At least he’s got that going for him. Ultimately he dreams of being a therapy horse – one who gets all cleaned up and visits people in hospitals and other places to give them a good cheering up.

Marti also has a graphic design service she makes available for clients whose own missions are to make the world a better place in some way!
