My first trip to HapiLani was an event that has had a profound affect on my subsequent thinking. As I wandered the landscape and shores I acquainted myself with the local surroundings, this place and the beings who inhabit it became increasingly more and more fantastic to me. When I became familiar with my surroundings I had the opportunity to learn a great many things.

I felt as though I could be comfortable there for an eternity. This was not to be. This caused the local inhabitants no small amount of concern but there was nothing to be done. At some point it became obvious that I would have to return to my normal existence. Yet I was able to stay long enough to collect some artifacts, and make some sketches.
