Muon is a yearling American Paint born spring 2004.
His name, Muon, is what physicists call 'charmed quarks', some of the subatomic particles that are measured in particle accelerators to be everywhere you want or at least expect them to be no matter what! The "Mc" of McHippus comes from his birth name, which was Mick Jagger because they say his tongue was sticking out. And the hippus is for the Latin names they give pre-historic equines (i.e. mesohippus). Thus, he is a charmed tongue sticker-outer with a long history of adapting well to the world around him! Note: he also has very knowing looking eyes, and to top it all off he is extremely friendly. And need I mention just how cute he is?
