...an informal, somewhat skewed opinion of one student's
experience
Commencing on March 1st, 2005
nine women from various walks of life, different places and with widely
varying horsemanship skills collected in an interesting little classroom
on the grounds of the fabulous Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, in the
heart of the BlueGrass. This is one participant's view of our six months
together...

Margi has an enthusiastic approach to all things horse that is infectious
and entertaining. Boy, does she have stories! |
Our intrepid classroom Instructor, Margi Stickney,

Lionel steadies Nancy from Walnut Hall as she calmly
endured the ardor of Todd's beautiful paint stud , Summer. I have more pictures
of this, and, NO, I will not email them to you, you naughty person. |
Todd is another of our instructors and takes a very
hands-on approach to his teaching style. You could say he goes the extra
mile in order to edify us to the finer points of equine behavior. But seeing
as how this is a family website we'll leave it to your imagination as to
just how hands on this dude is. ;-)
Our third instructor is Sherry, who is recovering from a lifetime of exuberantly
grooming horses by enduring miscellaneous back surgeries - who would have
been pictured here except the photo I took of her was real bad. She'll show
up later.

When nobody's looking, I plan on stealing these treasures
to see what if I can get enough for them on eBay to buy me a nice horsie!
Wait a second, I shouldn't be saying that here. |
