While living in a neighborhood in Chicago during its transition time this artist says she was repeatedly
protected from this and similar occurances by the street smarts of her pound puppy, "Zippy". He is
gone now, but she remembers him with great fondness. Saint Rocco is the patron saint to all dogs
and those that love them.
